How can I have my say?

You can answer the questions on this website. You do not need to answer all the questions. You can answer just the ones you are interested in.

If you have experience of dividing property after a separation or the death of your partner, you can tell us your story.

You can come along to a public meeting and speak to one of our team. Details of the public meetings are below.

If you would like to write a submission to us, you can email your submission to: pra@lawcom.govt.nz

Or you can post your written submission to:

Property (Relationships) Act Review
Law Commission
PO Box 2590
Wellington 6011
DX SP 23534

Submissions close on 7 February 2018.

What happens to my submission?
